What a dull, cold Sunday night. I rather like the cold...and believe me it can get bloody cold here. Who would've thought Waco had it in her? It's so much better than 108 though, don't you agree?

What to do..what to do... I could be on AIM right now, but everyone's away so what's the use? It's approaching 830 and I'm waiting to see if Juri calls me or not to go to church tonight. In theory, if I had left GP this morning at 10 or earlier, I'd have been back in time. Ah, well.

It's so quiet right now since we're both on our computers in our room just working away. (Or..yeah..let's consider this work...)

I think we lost Saturday; that's what somebody said earlier. Heh, onward with the streak of losing, now. To think, we started off just fine. *sigh* Such silly college sports.

HAHAHA, you should see the cosmo girl poster taped up on our bathroom door. His name is Alan and he's pretty hot...oh, speaking of hot, I bought a birthday card for my friend (nameless because her birthday is forever from now, it's ridiculous-I thought it was in October...) well, it has this hot guy on the front and says something about birthdays being like hunks, and then telling you, actually, no they're not but at least you have something nice to look at on your birthday. LOL.

Alan's hot and he's just this magazine guy. He best look like that in real life. Heh.

Garh, I have a paper to write for religion. It's not that bad since it's just a relection paper where we summarize the author's main points and then reflect on it. The previous two we did had to with Reading and Interpreting Scripture and Feminist views. They were interesting, but very long articles to read.

This next one should be extremely interesting because it's about homosexuality and how they're all going to hell and it's wrong, etc. I forgot the title of the article, though. Now if THAT doesn't raise up some discussion in my RELIGION class, I'll die of shock or die laughing. You should see the people get worked up in there. (not a laughing matter) A few act like my professor WAS THERE AND ALIVE during the time of Jesus. It saddens me.  I must remember it is a very interesting (and quite difficult) class nonetheless.

It looks like I may not be going to church tonight. Mass starts in 20 minutes. Ah, well, I could still go-it's just across the street.

Hmmmm.....so this is "Fall Break" A better name for it would be Fall Friday because in reality, that's all it is. A 3 day weekend due to having no classes yesterday...whatev to that break part...

I'm back in Grand Prairie at the moment and I love my cute little laptop which came in yesterday as well. I'm a happy camper indeedy. Hehehe.

Let's see...recap of today...not much going on, went to go buy a cord for my computer, I bought a shirt, got a surge protector, throw in a liter of coke in there, lol. I had one of those bottle caps that said you won a 1 liter coke product. I believe my dad won that; he always gets the winning sodas.

I fell alsleep at around 4 or 5 earlier and woke up at 8. Heh, all these random naps...that's what I get for staying up late all the time, especially last night since I was online all night.

Right when it seems my tests are over with....nope....I have a barrage of them coming up in no time. That means more disappearing off the face of the planet for a week or so studying...or trying to study...

So many birthdays in October...let's see...Lauren, Rene, Lauren W, Anthony, James, Rob, Jerry,  Melissa, Michael...and many more I may not be aware of.

Ooo, I love Halloween....yay yay yay. Lisa has tons of candy...I might add to the stock and buy some this week or something. True, I'm not much of a candy eater, but that's okay.

We ran into Leslie last night. It was an interesting coincidence--us 3 back in Grand Prairie the same weekend. Plus, yesterday I had fun hanging out in the kitchen (on our floor) with Deborah who was cooking for her host family (she's from France) and Allison who was making muffins. I haven't seen Angela in there in a while though. I haven't run into some people I used to run into everywhere, lol. Michael, for example, is nowhere to be found these days and I quite literally used to see him everywhere.

Off to find some more music...and figure something out about buying a carrying case for this adorable laptop...
